SEE HOW BABY POWDER NOW CAUSE OVARIAN CANCER.

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis jury has awarded a Virginia woman a record-setting $110.5 million in the latest lawsuit alleging that using Johnson & Johnson's baby powder caused cancer.
The jury ruling Thursday night for 62-year-old Louis Slemp, of Wise, Virginia, comes after three previous St. Louis juries awarded a total of $197 million to plaintiffs who made similar claims.
Slemp was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. It has since spread to her liver. She blamed her cancer on her use of the company's talcum-containing products for more than 40 years. About 2,000 women nationwide have filed similar suits over concerns about health damage caused by extended talcum powder use.
Johnson & Johnson said in a statement that it would appeal and disputed the scientific evidence behind the plaintiffs' allegations.

MENSTRUAL PAIN(CRAMPS) CAN CAUSE AS MUCH PAIN AS HEART ATTACK

You are welcome to NATURAL HEALTH ASSURANCE Where you health is assured.
I took pleasure writing this wonderful article on menstrual cramp, menstrual cramp have  been a major cry to the female gender, my sibling suffer menstrual cramp for years then I wasn't in the medical school then. But thank God for the Game now, "now professing" You know most feeling people who are ignorant about menstrual cramps has, is that they feel any young lady crying for abdominal pain such lady is pregnancy, hmm "Traditional Ignorant".
WHAT IS DYSMENORRHEA(MENSTRUAL CRAMPS) But really what is menstrual cramps; it also known as dysmenorrhea medically, they are painful sensation felt in the lower abdomen or at your lower back( causing lumbago), these crises can occur both before and during woman menstrual period.
                TYPES OF DYSMENORRHEA
Medically speaking there are two (2) types of dysmenorrhea.

Dysmenorrhea is of two types
*Primary
*Secondary
Primary dysmenorrhea is defined as painful menstruation for which no underlying pelvic pathology can be ascertained. The pain is usually maximum on the first day of the cycle and then reduces in severity. Primary dysmenorrhea is generally seen in younger girls soon after they attain menarche. The symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea generally improve with age and following childbirth.

Secondary dysmenorrhea is painful menstruation associated with an underlying pelvic abnormality such as
endometriosis, uterine fibroid , or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). During each cycle, the pain begins even before the onset of menstrual flow and may continue even after it ends. Symptoms of secondary dysmenorrhea begin at a later age compared to primary dysmenorrhea. Also the symptoms tend to get worse over time instead of improving.

                CAUSES OF DYSMENORRHEA
                      (MENSTRUAL CRAMPS)
During each periodic(female clock) if there are no sperm to fertilize the egg, the uterus constrict to expel its lining, certain hormones know as PROSTAGLADINS( chemical produce by female) stimulate
the uterine muscles to constrict- women with high level of PROSTAGLADINS may experience more intense contraction of their uterus so if their uterus constract too strongly, it can press against nearby blood vessels, cutting off the supply of oxygen to the muscle tissues of the uterus, so pain results when part of the muscle briefly losses it's suply of oxygen.

PREDISPOSING FACTORS TO MENSTRUAL CRAMPS
  1. Emotional stress tends to increase the chance of experiencing menstrual cramps, according to current study, do not also forget that there are connection between the mind and the body( psycho-somatic).
  2. Age also predispose one to having these crises, according to one study, more often younger age who are less than 30 years that have not given birth suffer menstrual cramps compare to women above 30 years.
  3. Lack of exercise especially aerobic exercise, Tend to predispose one to having high incidence of menstrual cramps.
  4. Family of dysmenorrhea; current study have link menstrual cramps to be genectial.
  5. Smoking; women who smoke tends to suffer more cramps compare to women who don't, so note that second hand smoking is as worse as not smoking.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH DYSMENORRHEA (MENSTRUAL CRAMPS)

These are the common causes of secondary dysmenorrhea include:

Uterine fibroids – benign growths in the wall of the uterus.

Adenomyosis - the lining of the uterus occurs abnormally in the muscle layer of the uterus.

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) - caused by bacterial infection of the genital tract.

Cervical stenosis – the opening of the cervix is narrow and hinders the menstrual flow causing pain.

Endometriosis – when the uterus lining (endometrium) is found in ectopic sites like ovaries, tubes and pelvic wall.

NATURAL HEALTH ASSURANCE HOMEOPATHIC MODALITIES

Belladonna

Symptoms that are very intense and come and go suddenly, accompanied by a feeling of heat, often indicate a need for this remedy. The menstrual flow is typically bright red, profuse, and may have begun too early. Pain and cramping are worse from jarring and from touch, yet applying steady pressure often brings relief. Walking or bending over can make things worse, and sitting may be the most tolerable position. A woman who needs this remedy may feel restless and flushed, with pulsing or pounding sensations, and eyes that are sensitive to light.

Chamomilla

This remedy is indicated when the person’s mood and nerves are so sensitive that pains seem almost unbearable. Anger and irritability may be extreme (or pain and cramping may come on after the woman has been angry). The menstrual flow can be heavy, and the blood may look dark or clotted. Pain often extends from the pelvic area into the thighs, and may be worse at night. Heating pads or exposure to wind can aggravate the symptoms. Vigorous walking or moving around in other ways may help relieve the pain.

Cimicifuga (also called Actaea Racemosa)

Cramping and pain that get worse as the flow increases, back and neck pain with muscle tension, and sharp pains like shocks that shoot upward, down the thighs, or across the pelvis, are all indications for this remedy. The woman is likely to be nervous, enthusiastic, and talkative by nature, yet feel pessimistic and fearful when unwell.

Cocculus

This remedy is indicated when a woman has cramping or pressing pain in the pelvic or abdominal region, along with weakness or dizziness. She may be inclined toward headaches or nausea, and parts of her body can feel numb or hollow. Feeling worse from standing up or from any kind of exertion and feeling better from lying down and sleeping are typical. (Cocculus is often indicated when a person has not been sleeping well and then feels weak or ill.)

Magnesia phosphorica

Painful cramps and pain in the pelvic region that are relieved by pressure and warmth often respond to this remedy. Periods may start too early, often with a dark or stringy discharge, and pain is usually worse on the right side of the body. The woman is sensitive and inclined toward “nerve pain”—feeling worse from being cold and also worse at night.

Other Remedies

Bovista

Women needing this remedy tend to have problems with puffiness and edema during times of menstrual stress, and can feel very awkward and clumsy. Pain may be felt in the pelvic region, often with soreness near the pubic bone. Menstrual flow increases at night (and may even be absent during the day). Diarrhea occurring at the time of the menstrual period is a strong indication for this remedy.

Caulophyllum thalictroides

This remedy relieves menstrual cramps occurring at the onset of periods, with scanty flow.

Colocynthis

This remedy relieves abdominal and menstrual cramps improved by bending over, strong pressure and heat.

Ipecac

This relieves heavy menstruation with many clots, associated with cramps and nausea.

Lachesis

Women who have intense discomfort and tension before the menstrual period begins and feel much better when the flow is established may benefit from this remedy. Symptoms include a bearing-down sensation in the pelvis, flushes of heat, headache, and an inability to tolerate the touch of clothing around the waist or neck. A person who needs this remedy may feel “like a pressure cooker”: intense and passionate, needing an outlet both physically and emotionally.

Lilium tigrinum

Indications for this remedy include great premenstrual irritability (making other people “walk on eggs”) and cramping pain with a bearing-down feeling during periods. The woman may feel as if her uterus is pushing out, and may need to sit a lot or cross her legs. She is likely to feel worse from strong emotions or excitement and be better from fresh air.

Nux vomica

This remedy may be indicated when a woman has irregular menstrual periods with constricting pains that can extend to the rectum or the area above the tailbone. The woman tends to be impatient, irritable, and easily offended. Chilliness and constipation are also common. Mental strain, anger, physical exertion, stimulants, strong foods, and alcohol are likely to make things worse. Warmth and rest often help.

Pulsatilla

Delayed or suppressed menstrual flow accompanied by nausea or faintness suggests the use of this remedy. Getting too warm or being in a stuffy room make things worse. Cramping pain with a bearing-down feeling, either with scanty flow or thick, dark, clotted discharge, can also occur—symptoms that are changeable often point to Pulsatilla . The woman’s moods are changeable as well, and a desire for attention and sympathy, along with a sensitive (even tearful) emotional state are typical. This remedy is indicated during many conditions involving hormonal changes and is often helpful to girls who have recently started having periods.

Sabina

This remedy relieves profuse and painful periods with red blood clots, and pain spreading to the root of the thighs.

Sepia

Indications for this remedy include painful, late, or suppressed menstruation, sometimes with a feeling that the pelvic floor is weak or as if the uterus is sagging. The woman may feel irritable, dragged out, and sad—losing interest temporarily in marital and family interactions, wanting to be left alone. Dampness, perspiring, and doing housework may aggravate the symptoms. Warmth and exercise, especially dancing, often brighten the woman’s outlook and restore some energy.

Veratrum album

Menstrual periods with a very heavy flow and cramping, along with feeling of exhaustion, chilliness, and even vomiting and diarrhea, are indications for this remedy. The periods may start too early and go on too long. Discomfort is often worse at night and also in wet, cold weather. Warm drinks, exercise, or moving the bowels may make things worse. Small meals, cold drinks, and wrapping up in warm clothes or covers will tend to bring relief.

LEARN HOW RICE COULD CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR SYSTEMIC DISEASES

The type of carbohydrate in your diet makes a difference when it comes to weight control. Research suggests that people who eat more fiber are less likely to gain weight. Refined grains, such as white rice, cause blood sugar and insulin to rapidly rise, which makes you feel hungry. In the long term, spikes in blood sugar may make you gain weight, according to the Harvard School of Public Health. Eating more fiber also lowers the risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

What Is Rice?

Rice is a cereal grain that has been grown for thousands of years. It’s a staple food in many countries and one of the most common cereal grains in the world.
Several types are available, but varieties of white rice are the most popular, followed by brown rice.

To better understand these different types, it’s best to start with the basics.

All whole grains are composed of three major components:

Bran: A rough and hard outer layer that protects the seed. It contains fiber, minerals and antioxidants.Germ: A nutrient-rich core containing carbs, fat, protein, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other plant compounds.
Endosperm: This is the largest part of the grain. It consists almost entirely of carbs (starch) and a small amount of protein.
Brown rice is an intact whole grain that contains both the bran and germ. Therefore, it’s nutritious and rich in fiber and antioxidants e.g the abakiliki rice of Nigeria.

On the contrary, white rice has had both the bran and nutritious germ removed, ultimately stripping it of all its nutritional parts. This is generally done to improve its taste, prolong its shelf life and enhance its cooking qualities.

As a result, white rice varieties are almost entirely made up of carbs in the form of starches, or long chains of glucose known as amylose and amylopectin.

Different types of rice contain different amounts of these starches, which affects their texture and digestibility. Rice that does not stick together after cooking is high in amylose, while sticky rice is generally high in amylopectin.

Because of these variations in starch composition, different types of rice can have different health effects.
Nigerian made rice(brown) versus white(bleach) rice.

Research has shown that Since nothing has been stripped from Brown rice, it is generally higher in fiber, vitamins and minerals than white rice. The level at which white rice(130 calories) carries up it calories is higher than Brown rice with(112 calories) also current research also shown that Vitamin B12 have been bleach off from white rice and this causes diseases condition like G.I.T dysfunction(diarrhoea)

N.B: White rice is higher in calories and contains fewer nutrients and fiber than brown rice.

Rice’s Effects on Weight Loss.

People who eat whole grains like brown rice have repeatedly been shown to weigh less than those who don’t, as well as be at a reduced risk of weight gain.

This could be attributed to the fiber, nutrients and plant compounds found in whole grains. They may increase feelings of fullness and help you eat fewer calories at a time.

Current study in women observed that those with the highest intake of dietary fiber from whole-grain foods had almost a 50% lower risk of major weight gain, compared to those with the lowest intake.

It has also been suggested that eating brown rice instead of white may lead to weight loss and more favorable blood fat levels.

Numerous studies have shown that a dietary pattern high in refined grains like white rice is linked to weight gain and obesity. included either white rice or Brown rice.

In conclusion
Brown rice has the advantage of being higher in fiber and nutrients than white rice, making it the healthier choice.

OUR LIVER THE CHIEF CUSTOM OFFICER AT THE BORDER

OUR LIVER  THE CHIEF CUSTOM OFFICER AT THE BORDER.
Customs officers are responsible for helping to prevent the importation of illegal and/or dangerous goods including firearms, drugs, alcohol, tobacco and endangered animals into any country so they are juris'' to guild their countries at the border.
This is how the LIVER works, its help to detoxify, reject, debunk, any harmful substance ingest into the body(country) before they are allow(absorb) into the cellular tissue through the blood stream. But the inability of this or affection to this might lead to
1.Skin and eyes that appear yellowish (jaundice)
2.Abdominal pain and swelling
3.Swelling in the legs and ankles
4.Itchy skin
5.Dark urine color
6.Pale stool color, or bloody or tar-colored stool
7.Chronic fatigue
8.Nausea or vomiting
9.Loss of appetite
10.Tendency to bruise easily.
WHAT IS THE LIVER.
The liver is a reddish-brown wedge-shaped organ with four lobes of unequal size and shape. A human liver normally weighs 1.44–1.66 kg (3.2–3.7 lb).  It is both the heaviest internal organ and the largest gland in the human body. Located in the right upper quadrant of the abdominal cavity , it rests just below the diaphragm , to the right of the stomach and overlies the gallbladder
The liver is connected to two large blood vessels: the
hepatic artery and the portal vein . The hepatic artery carries oxygen-rich blood from the aorta, whereas the portal vein carries blood rich in digested nutrients from the entire gastrointestinal tract and also from the spleen and pancreas . These blood vessels subdivide into small capillaries known as liver sinusoids, which then lead to a lobule .
Lobules are the functional units of the liver. Each lobule is made up of millions of hepatic cells (hepatocytes) which are the basic metabolic cells. The lobules are held together by a fine dense irregular fibroelastic connective tissue layer which extends into the structure of the liver, by accompanying the vessels (veins and arteries) ducts and nerves through the hepatic portal, as a fibrous capsule called
Glisson's capsule .  The whole surface of the liver is covered in a serous coat derived from peritoneum and this has an inner fibrous coat ( Glisson's capsule) to which it is firmly adhered. The fibrous coat is of areolar tissue and follows the vessels and ducts to support the them.
HOW THE LIVER WORKS.
The liver is responsible for cleaning toxins and wastes from your blood, and separating out the useful nutrients to synthesize hundreds of biochemicals that your body needs for daily functioning. Your liver also activates and regulates important hormones.
After your digestive system has broken down your food, the small particles enter your blood from the intestine and are routed to your liver for filtering. There your liver separates the nutrients needed for building blocks from the waste chemicals that need to be removed from circulation. The liver converts amino acids into proteins to build lean muscle mass and enzymes. It produces bile that squirts back out through your gall bladder into your intestinal tract to digest fatty foods. The liver also stores energy from sugar as glycogen for later release. Your liver works like a factory that receives, filters and then repackages substances for use in the body or for safe removal of any toxic wastes.
Out of the hundreds of functions your liver performs, ensuring toxins are safely removed from your blood is one of its most critical jobs. Toxins enter your body when you are exposed to harmful substances like pesticides, but they also result from normal digestion. For example, when your body digests protein, ammonia is released and your liver converts it into the less toxic substance called urea that is eliminated through your urine. Any wastes your liver cannot use are converted and either carried out by bile into your small intestine or carried by the blood to your kidneys.
Your liver detoxifies harmful substances in two steps. The first step uses enzymes and oxygen to burn toxins, especially fatty ones, so they are more water soluble, making them easier for the body to eliminate. The second detox step combines partially processed toxins with sulfur or amino acids so they can be removed through bile or urine.

RHAUMATOID ARTHRITIS THE PERMANENT SOLUTION YOU BEEN WAITING FOR......

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune chronic inflammatory disorder that typically affects the joints of your hands and feet. The symptoms generally surface after 40 years of age and are mostly prevalent among women. However, the condition can affect children as young as 16 years of age and is known as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Generally, rheumatoid arthritis affects the lining of your joints, causing a painful swelling which ultimately results in bone erosion and joint deformity. Although, no proper treatment exists at present to treat rheumatoid arthritis, doctors usually focus on controlling its symptoms and combat joint pain and damage.
If the disease goes untreated, it can cause permanent damage to the joints. It can also cause other problems, such as inflammation in the lungs or the eyes," said Dr. Linda Mileti, a rheumatologist at the Cleveland Clinic. The disorder can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease as well.
THE CAUSES OF RAD
Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease where the immune system of a person’s body (a system that is supposed to protect the body from foreign bodies) fails to recognise the body’s own cells as harmless and attacks them. In this case, it does not recognise the cells of the synovial membranes as its own and thus, launches a defensive action against them. This in turn leads to swelling and pain in the joints, discomfort and general debility.

Symptoms OF RAD

Signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis may include:
  • Tender, warm, swollen joints
  • Joint stiffness that is usually worse in the mornings and after inactivity
  • Fatigue, fever and weight loss

Early rheumatoid arthritis tends to affect your smaller joints first — particularly the joints that attach your fingers to your hands and your toes to your feet.
As the disease progresses, symptoms often spread to the wrists, knees, ankles, elbows, hips and shoulders. In most cases, symptoms occur in the same joints on both sides of your body.
About 40 percent of the people who have rheumatoid arthritis also experience signs and symptoms that don't involve the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis can affect many nonjoint structures, including:
  • Skin
  • Eyes
  • Lungs
  • Heart
  • Kidneys
  • Salivary glands
  • Nerve tissue
  • Bone marrow
  • Blood vessels
Rheumatoid arthritis signs and symptoms may vary in severity and may even come and go. Periods of increased disease activity, called flares, alternate with periods of relative remission — when the swelling and pain fade or disappear. Over time, rheumatoid arthritis can cause joints to deform and shift out of place.

Risk factors

Factors that may increase your risk of rheumatoid arthritis include:
  • Your sex. Women are more likely than men to develop rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Age. Rheumatoid arthritis can occur at any age, but it most commonly begins between the ages of 40 and 60.
  • Family history. If a member of your family has rheumatoid arthritis, you may have an increased risk of the disease.
  • Smoking. Cigarette smoking increases your risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis, particularly if you have a genetic predisposition for developing the disease. Smoking also appears to be associated with greater disease severity.
  • Environmental exposures. Although uncertain and poorly understood, some exposures such as asbestos or silica may increase the risk for developing rheumatoid arthritis. Emergency workers exposed to dust from the collapse of the World Trade Center are at higher risk of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Obesity. People who are overweight or obese appear to be at somewhat higher risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis, especially in women diagnosed with the disease when they were 55 or younger
DIAGNOSIS FOR RAD
The diagnosis of RA based on the symptoms. There are no specific diagnostic tests to detect rheumatoid arthritis as the early signs and symptoms often mimic other joint diseases.  However, in some people these laboratory tests show positive results thereby aiding the diagnosis of RA. These include –
Rheumatoid factor (RF) test: This blood test measures the blood levels of rheumatoid antibody.
Synovial fluid analysis: It involves a group of tests that examine synovial fluid, fluid present between the joints.
MRI scan: It is animaging test that uses magnetic waves and thus, aids in the diagnosis of the bone and joint structure.
Other blood tests: In some cases, complete blood count, anti-CCP antibody, C-reactive protein and ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) tests are also recommended.
X-rays and CT scan: In this, radiations are used to diagnose inflammation in the joints and thus, confirm rheumatoid arthritis

Why are swollen joints so difficult to diagnose? What causes swollen and painful joints?
Swelling of the joint occurs when there is a build-up of fluid in the soft tissue surrounding the joints. It makes the joints look larger or abnormally shaped. According to the medical fraternity, there are 128 causes of swollen joints, which are broadly speaking, different types of arthritis, infections, and injuries. Arthritis can cause swelling, redness, and warmth around the joint. An infection generally causes swelling and pain in the joints along with fever. Injuries too cause swelling of the joint when there is a fracture in the bone or a tear in the tendon or ligament
Let’s check out some of the diseases / disorders that cause swollen joints.
  1. Ankylosing spondylitis: It is a type of arthritis caused by chronic inflammation of the spine. The inflammation causes the vertebrae to fuse together (ankylosis) resulting in stiffness and loss of MOBILITY of the spine. Pain and stiffness in the spine region including the neck and back are the main symptoms of the disease. The condition is generally inherited affecting all age groups and occurring in both men and women, though it is more common in men.
  1. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA): This autoimmune disease causes inflammation of the joints. Symptoms include swollen and painful joints, fatigue, fever, loss of joint function, joint stiffness, redness, warmth, and even deformity. Unfortunately there is no cure for RA.
  1. Osteoarthritis :Also can led degenerative arthritis, this is a type of arthritis which causes joint inflammation due to wearing down of cartilage. The wear and tear of cartilage can occur because of aging or injury. You can suspect osteoarthritis if you experience pain after repetitive use of the affected joint. Although it has no known cause, it has generally been found to affect men over 45 years of age and women over 55 years of age.
  1. Gout: Gout is an inflammation that begins suddenly and usually affects one joint. It occurs when there is a buildup of uric acid in the joint. Uric acid is normal byproduct of purine (protein) break down. A gout attack can be triggered by red meat, seafood, sweetened beverages and alcohol as they are high in purines. A recent study published in the American Journal of Medicine suggested that episodic alcohol consumption, whether beer, liquor, or wine, was associated with an increased risk of recurrent gout attacks even with moderate amounts. Even vegetables like mushroom, pea, spinach, cauliflower and lentils and kidney beans are moderately rich in purines. Dehydration is also a big trigger for gout.
  1. Psoriatic arthritis: It is a chronic disease characterized by inflammation of the skin (psoriasis) followed by inflammation of the joints (inflammatory arthritis). Psoriatic arthritis usually affects people with psoriasis in the age group of 40 to 50 years. Sometimes arthritis can occur earlier and psoriasis develops later, which makes it difficult to make a diagnosis.
  1. Bursitis: Bursitis is the inflammation of bursa. Bursa is a fluid-filled sac that cushions the areas of friction between the two tissues, and reduces friction between the moving parts of the body – for example, area around the joints of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. Bursitis can be caused by trauma to the affected area through repetitive motions, such as when you repetitively kneel on the hard surface to scrub the floor you may get pre-patellar bursitis or the bursitis of the knee. Infection or a pre-existing rheumatoid conditions can also cause bursitis.
  1. Lupus: Lupus is another autoimmune disease where your body produces abnormal antibodies called autoantibodies in the blood. These tissues can attack different parts of the body such as skin, joints, heart, lungs, and kidneys. When it affects just the skin you may notice flare-ups or rashes. However, if the internal organs are involved lupus is called systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and it can cause serious trouble.  Symptoms include fever, headache, swollen and painful joints, swelling in hands, feet, legs, or under the eyes, and extreme fatigue.
  1. Lyme disease: Lyme disease is an infection caused by the bite of an infected deer tick. It can affect any organ of the body including the brain and the nervous system. Early symptoms include flu-like illness that could go away without treatment and a bulls-eye rash darker around the edges (only 10 percent of affected people show this rash). Later symptoms include headache, swollen and painful joints, light or sound sensitivity, cognitive impairment, fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea, shortness of breath, shooting pain, and depression or mood swings.
  2. Synovial sarcoma: It is one of the most common soft tissue cancer in adolescents and young adults. The tumor occurs near a joint, not in the joint, especially in the knees and ankles. Usually there are no signs and symptoms in the early stages. Later symptoms include pain and swollen joints and a noticeable painful lump.
  3. Torn meniscus: Meniscus is the cartilage within the knee joint that protects the knee from the stresses placed on it due to walking, running, climbing or bending. Sometimes a forceful twisting or rotation of the knee can cause the meniscus to tear. A torn meniscus causes a popping sensation, swelling or stiffness in the knee, a block in the movement of the affected knee.
  4. Sprains and strains: A sprain is an injury to ligaments, for example, when you twist your ankle, whereas a strain is an injury to muscle or tendons as in hamstring injury in sports. Sprains and strains occur when your muscles and joints are forced to perform a movement for which they are not prepared, or occur after many repetitions of the motion.  Pain and swelling of the joint in case of sprains and pain and swelling of the muscle in case of strains are the main symptoms. You may not think much of it but do see a doctor when you can’t move the affected joint or have numbness in any part of the affected area.
  5. Bone fracture: A bone fracture occurs when you exert a stronger force on the bone than it can bear. There are different types of bone fractures depending upon the person’s age or health. For example, elderly people are more prone to hip fractures than say an adolescent. Fractures can also occur as a result of traumatic injury such as motor accidents, sporting injuries and falls. Osteoporosis and certain cancers also cause bones to break easily. A fracture in the bone is usually accompanied by injury to the surrounding tissue. This causes swelling of the affected joint near the fracture area. The swelling occurs within a few hours.
Swollen joints as such may not be life threatening. But do see a doctor if there is unexplained swelling of joints or if you have joint swelling.

Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis

When it comes to treating Rheumatoid Arthritis as it usually called, the normal treatment given in Allopathy is to give steroids, anti inflammatory medicines and painkillers. This does not in any way cure the problem but is aimed at alleviating the suffering of the patient. Ironically, some of these medicines have their own side effects and end up causing some more problems than one originally had.

Homeopathic treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Homeopathy offers a much better treatment option for people suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. That is because Homeopathy does not aim at providing short term relief for RA. On the contrary, Homeopathic medicines for RA are aimed at completely curing and eradicating the inflammation of the joints. Of course, this requires some time as the immune system has to get back into its original shape where it recognizes one’s own body as a friend and not as an enemy. In my experience, Homeopathic treatment is by far the best treatment for RA when one considers the long term effects of the treatment. It is purely a natural treatment for RA and no steroids or synthetic medicines are used.

WHY I WENT HOLICTICAL THE SECRET OF HEALTH YOU BEEN WAITING FOR

Why I Went Holistic! The Natural Health Assurance
What’s the best way to improve your physical health, your
mental and emotional well being, and therefore the quality
of your life? defination for health by the WHO
Truth is, there isn’t just ONE way.
Good health isn’t just about being free from illness, it’s
about being fit, strong, vibrant, optimistic and energetic.
To that end there are things we need to do every day to
nourish and nurture ourselves.
Therefore optimal health requires a multifaceted approach.
Here’s why…
Making lasting changes is not always easy.
For example, it’s relatively easy to lose weight and
completely transform yourself within a matter of weeks  however unless certain lifestyle factors are addressed,
more than likely you will regain the weight.
Similarly, if you have a chronic health condition you can
take medication to suppress the symptoms, OR you can
address the reason (s) the health condition may have
manifested in the first place.
Otherwise we’re only taking a ‘quick fix’ approach and not
really addressing the heart of the matter. (and therefore
not making lasting changes)
In my own case, I had reoccurring
headache and migraines. I would take medication to
keep symptoms at bay or when I had an acute attack.
Truth is, this might have continued indefinitely had I not been willing to look for the possible causes.
Thankfully I was able to identify certain triggers, I made modifications to my lifestyle, such as stress within a few weeks I had a
farewell to ALL medication. (Nutritional deficiencies, dairy products and a highly stressful job were identified as the
culprits)
Thankfully I haven’t had a single incidence of headache  for over 2years…
Taking an holistic approach requires a willingness to
address and change certain lifestyle factors, however the
results are well worth it.
In the last 2 years I’ve studied a range of natural
therapies and I share these natural approaches with all of

DETOXIFICATION THE SOLUTION TO HEAlTH LIVING.
Detoxification is the process the body uses to eliminate or neutralise toxins in the body.
The process occurs through - the Colon,Liver, Kidney, Lungs, Lymph and Skin.
Our Heartbeat and other body functions are involuntary, our metabolic processes get rid of accumulated toxic waste continuously  also.
Our environment has changed dramatically, the quality of the food has also change, this is making it difficult to remove waste matter from the body. Therefore the body is fighting a battle to function at its optimum level.
Detox helps the body to remove the accumulated toxic waste that it is carrying.
The first step of a Detox is- INTESTINAL CLEANSING.

There is a saying that ''DEATH BEGINS IN THE COLON
The road to health begins with intestinal Cleansing no matter what the disease or problem is. This is not because it is inherently more important than the other systems or organs of the body, it is because the digestive system that takes the greatest abuse from outside and it affects the other systems.
Nutrients  gain access into body through the gut therefore if it is not in a good condition problems arise.
God bless you.

DO YOU KNOW THAT AMERICANS SUFFERS CHRONIC DIS-EASE THAN ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

According to current research work Epidemiology study shows that despite the high level of spending on healthcare in the United States compared to England, Americans experience higher rates of chronic disease and markers of disease than their English counterparts at all ages.. Why health status differs so dramatically in these two countries, which share much in terms of history and culture, is a mystery.

The study uses data from two nationally representative surveys to compare the health of residents of the United States and England from 0 to 80 years, focusing on a number of chronic conditions and markers of disease. This research builds on previous studies(Retrospective study) by other scholars that focused primarily on older adults.

"A systematic assessment of cross-country differences in health by age group and type of condition provides necessary context for learning about why older residents of England suffer fewer chronic health conditions than their counterparts in the U.S .

Health measures based on physical examinations and/or laboratory reports included the following risk factors or conditions: obesity, hypertension, diabetes, low high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, high cholesterol ratio, and high C-reactive protein in addition to self-reported health issues. These are the same measures that were used in other recent analyses that compared health of older adults in the two countries.

Differences between the two countries are statistically significant for every condition except hypertension. The results were not sensitive to alternative definitions of hypertension and are consistent with previous findings of lower rates of hypertension in the United States than in England. The disease prevalence for the self-reported conditions (i.e. asthma, heart attack, angina, and stroke) is largely consistent with country reports and other previous studies.

Comparisons by age group indicate that most cross-country differences in health conditions and markers of disease at young ages are as large as those at older ages. This is the case for obesity, low HDL cholesterol, high cholesterol ratio, high C-reactive protein, hypertension (for females), diabetes, asthma, heart attack or angina (for females), and stroke (for females). For males, heart attack or angina is higher in the United States only at younger ages, and hypertension is higher in England than in the United States at young ages.

Higher rates of screening for some conditions, the greater use of certain healthcare procedures, and higher survival rates for cerebrovascular disease in the United States may represent partial explanations. However, given that the United States has higher age-specific mortality for every age group (except for those 65 or older), these differences cannot fully account for the observed cross-country differences in health conditions and markers of disease.                                      THE CAUSES OF CHRONIC DISEASE IN UNITED STATE.

The allocation of health care resources may play a role. Despite the greater use of health care technology in the United States,                  1.  Americans receive less preventive health care than their English counterparts.   2.They have fewer physician consultations per year.        3.   Acute hospital visits are also shorter in the United States, potentially resulting in missed opportunities for follow-up. It is also possible that the cross-country differences in social or physical environmental conditions or lifestyle play a role.
4. lack of exercise: one of the best way to overcome chronic disease is through exercise. Do you know that when you exercise you take specific ANTIOXIDANT unknown to you antioxidant are free molecules or substance that inhibit(prevent) oxidation( is a chemical reaction that produce free radicals that damage the cells to cause chronic disease.                    The good news is that under normal conditions your body has the inherent ability to defend against free radicals by producing three substances; glutathione, catalase and superoxide dismutase. (Especially when you feed yourself with natural fruits and food not joggs or sweet and addictive substance. )                    These substances are known as antioxidants, which work as free radical scavengers, seeking out free radicals and donating the electrons needed to neutralize them, thereby quenching their need to search out and destroy healthy cells.
The problem occurs when free radical production exceeds the body’s ability to produce antioxidants. This can happen during intense exercise, chronic systemic inflammation from sugary substance, flour, alcohol or too much of soft drinks, polluted environment  etc
A well balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables is important and will help, but alone it’s just not enough. Factory processing, additives and pesticides all work to destroy antioxidants within our foods as said early and nutrient depleted soils no longer provide us with the nutrient rich foods that our grandparents enjoyed.
The following list of antioxidants play an important role in free radical protection, especially for those that want to be free from chronic diseases. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, selenium, coenzyme Q10 and glutathione.
Eating a well balanced diet and a taking strong Multi-Vitamin/Mineral/Antioxidant Supplement each day should be considered for adequate antioxidant protection and to promote optimum performance and long-term health. There’s a saying, “Take care of your body for the first 50 years of your life, and it will take care of you for next 50.” Antioxidant protection and good diet is a great way to start. FOODS DOES NOT CAUSE DISEASE WHAT CAUSES DISEASE IS HOW WE EAT, WHAT WE EAT, WHY WE EAT AND TIME WE EAT.

Here are lists of Foods To Reduce or Eliminate That Can Contribute to Your Erectile Dysfunction Symtoms:
Foods high in sodium (salt). A diet containing foods high in sodium can lead to high blood pressure, which impacts the heart’s ability to pump blood efficiently.
Foods containing trans-fats. Trans-fats, partially hydrogenated and saturated fats, are a leading cause of clogged arteries and heart disease. This prevents the efficient flow of blood to the arteries and organs.
Foods high in sugar. A diet high in sugar can lead to weight gain, obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Significant weight gain puts pressure on the heart and vital organs to function properly. Due to insulin resistance from an over abundance of sugar (blood glucose) in the blood, Type 2 Diabetes leads to inflammation of the organs and nerve damage, which contribute to several health issues.
Foods high in cholesterol. A diet high in LDL cholesterol is a leading cause of clogged arteries and heart disease, similar to trans-fats. High levels of LDL cholesterol in the blood slows down the body’s ability to use blood glucose, the leading cause of Type 2 Diabetes.
Foods To Eat That Can Prevent Erectile Dysfunction:
Dark green vegetables. Dark green vegetables are a good source of zinc. Zinc has been proven to improve blood flow to the major organs, and has been shown to improve blood flow to the penis in those with ED. High levels of zinc also improves prostate health.
Foods High in Potassium (especially for older men age 6o and above). Foods high in Potassium is a natural combatant to the high levels of sodium found in most canned and processed foods. Just as too much salt leads to high blood pressure, low potassium levels throws off the natural balance of electrolytes and causes high blood pressure.
Foods low in sugar. High consumption of sugar is a major contributor to weight gain and Type 2 Diabetes. Unhealthy weight gain puts pressure on the heart and and major organs to function properly. When the heart has to work harder to pump blood to the organs, it is more difficult to pump the massive amount of blood needed to get and maintain an erection. Eating too much sugar can lead to insulin resistance, meaning the body is unable to produce enough insulin to convert sugar to energy, and is the leading cause of Type 2 Diabetes.
Foods low in fat. Eating foods high in fat is a major contributor to weight gain and heart disease. The body stores excess fat from foods. Unhealthy weight gain puts pressure on the heart and and major organs to function properly. When the heart has to work harder to pump blood to the organs due to weight gain and heart disease, it is more difficult to pump the massive amount of blood needed to get and maintain an erection. Eating a diet low in fat will help the body use up the excess fat, and maintain optimum body weight and help prevent heart disease, thus ensuring sufficient blood flow to the major organs, including the penis, which requires a large amount of blood to achieve and maintain an erection.
Foods low in cholesterol and trans-fats. There are two types of cholesterol, LDL (Low-density lipoprotein) and HDL (High-density lipoprotein) LDL is the “bad cholesterol” that builds up in the arteries causing coronary heart disease and a leading cause of heart attacks. Foods high in LDL are those that contain tran-fats, such partially hydrogenated oil. HDL is the “good cholesterol” that scrubs the arteries of the plaque build-up that impairs good flow of blood through the body. Foods high in Niacin (Vitamin B) are naturally John in HDL cholesterol Triglycerides is both HDL and LDL. You should have high HDL and low LDL. See your doctor for a cholesterol test to see how much LDL and HDL is in your blood, especially if you suffer from erectile dysfunction.
Foods High in Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Omega-3 Fatty Acids are essential to control heart disease, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and more. Heart Disease and hypertension are leading causes of sexual dysfunction, and many men who report weak erections have diets low in Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Foods high in Omega-3 Fatty Acids are fish, flaxseed, walnuts, eggs, Canola Oil, and pumpkin seeds. DHA supplements are another way to boost your intake of Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
Fruits, including bananas, strawberries, cantaloupe, oranges and watermelon are an essential source of phyto-nutrients. Watermelon especially is a good source of
lycopene . Lycopene relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow, similar to how Viagra works, but naturally and without the side effects.
Eating a healthy diet containing foods low in sugar, fat, sodium and trans-fats and eliminating foods high in trans-fat, cholesterol, sodium and sugar will help prevent erectile dysfunction. Eliminating the bad foods can lower blood pressure, reduce the build up of plaque in the arteries that can lead to coronary artery disease, and reducing the likelihood of developing Type II Diabetes by preventing insulin resistance. It is also important to get plenty of exercise and 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night. For further enquiry about natural product that are efficacious you can contact us or visit us at www.thenaturalhealthassurance.blogspot.com.ng or www.facebook/thenatural-health-assurance
